I love coffee for one simple fact: it’s a universal experience. It’s unique in its ability to connect people from anywhere and everywhere. You can go almost anywhere in the world and you have the option of coffee. My goal is to offer that right here in Payne – to be a welcoming, familiar, and established place of peace and great drinks in our community. I wouldn’t be here without the support of Payne’s residents and the support of my circle of family and friends, and I am eternally grateful.
I opened Ritual Coffee Lounge because it’s been a dream of mine since I worked for my Aunt Laura’s coffee shop. She taught me everything I know, and she encouraged me to try something new every time I came into work until I found something I liked. Eventually I did, and now I can’t live without coffee!
While I have a lot of experience that I gained from working in food service, what I learned that stuck with me the most is that I love people. I love connecting with people, chatting with them about their lives, and watching my business become a place for people to catch up. I believe coffee shops are for everyone, even if you don’t drink coffee. Everyone is welcome at Ritual Coffee Lounge.
